Is changing of school a good option for someone who�s been bullyed?

ok so I have a friend who entered this year to school,as soon as she entered one bully started bad rumors about her,now nobody got to know her and ther are bullying her,and they leave her out of the group,she says she always fells sad,and she hates going to school,yesterday she asked me what could she do to stop the suffering.....she already tried to stop the bully but it got worst:S what can she do?? :S:S please help!!
