People are making fun of me and saying im emo... when im not?

ok so today this one kid asked me why i wear so much eye makeup. (eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow.) and i was like being sarcastic and said because i wanna be emo. :) so of course,he believed me and told his whole homeroom. all these popular snobby girls were saying im weird and stuff and that i cut myself and that im emo. IM NOT! so now nobody likes me and crap and yeahh i wanna cry. :( what should i do?
