Can I break my lease if they didn't tell me about lead paint?

My landlord didn't tell me that we had lead paint in the apartment and I have 2 children, 3 1/2 and 1. I know that lead poisoning is possible and dangerous because if my children were to ingest a paint chip and got lead poisoning, they could get brain damage. I read up on it and she was required to tell me about it and give me a brochure before I moved in. She call me about a month later, as an, "oh, by the way" kind of thing. I want to move; can I terminate the lease early bacause she didn't tell about this?
