A confusing situation?

ok,there is that guy whom i like & i see him often,at first he wasnt paying attention to me,but know he does,i mean whenever i p by,he looks at me but he doesnt try to talk to me or anything.one day i found him with a girl& when i ped he looked at me & then totally ignored me.at the same day another girl came to him & they changed their place & sat at a farther place.i try not to look to him in order not to know that im dying to know him which will make him arrogant(as he used to be so bec. he's handsome &girls go to him).the problem is that he was tatally ignoring me in the past & now he's making this"peek" thing.i dont know whether this means that he likes me or not...at the same time,i dont want to go to talk to him as i feel that i'll be like all the other girls that go to him just for his looks which will make me feel low,so what do u think..i really appreciate ur advice
