Should i do bmx or skateboarding?

ive been skateboarding for about 1 year I can pop shuv, shuv, Ollie and rock to fakie ive been looking at bmx and been quite interested in starting i have had mountain bikes but never bmx and was wondering what you think is better and why thanks
