Training An "Unpredictable" Pitbull?

How are you correcting this behavior when it happens? You need to nip these behaviors in the NOW. I'm sure your guests don't appreciate a big dumb dog jumping on them all the time, if someone else's dog jumped on me my first reaction would be to knee it in the stomach. Teaches the dog pretty fast that his behavior isn't acceptable.
