What's wrong with the way JoePa coaches?

A lot of people say that he is more of a mascot than a coach and his istants do all the work. Ok, perhaps that's a little true...but what's wrong with that? He still pulls in the recruits, deals with grades and discpline issues, brings in the $$$ from the boosters, and deals with the media. Some people, like Nick Saben, are micromanagers and love to run every position there is. JoePa is more hands off and lets his coaches coach. If it works for PSU, what's the problem? Would you rather your team have a coach like JoePa, or some clown like RichRod that screws up everything he touches?
