How Do I Register My New Car I Purchased Out Of State?

On 9/4/2009 I purchased a Used 2006 Dodge Stratus R/T from Bedford Chrsyler Plymouth in Bedford PA for $13,995 CASH. Had the car delivered to my home state of NJ. I went to register the car here and forgot I would have to pay the registration fees and taxes 7% ($1280.00) all at one time. I did not have the cash at that time. I recently came up with the cash to register it. Yet I'm moving to CT in 3 weeks I want to register it in CT...what do I do ???
